Navy SEALs Naval Special Warfare Foundation Endowment Society

NSW Foundation Hawaii

The SEAL–Naval Special Warfare Foundation - Hawaii is a 509(a)3, a supporting organization for the Naval Special Warfare Foundation, operating exclusively for the benefit of, and to carry out the purposes of the Naval Special Warfare Foundation.

The Commitment of a U.S. Navy SEAL includes deployments, life-threatening missions and leaving behind their loved ones for months at a time. The families that support these SEALs are strong and resilient. But no matter how great their strength, the wounding or loss of a loved one is heavy on the heart.

The sacrifices families endure were made public in 2005, when 11 SEALs were killed during counter-terrorism operations in Kunar Province, Afganistan. This was the greatest single loss in the U.S. SEAL’s 44-year history. Since this fateful day, SEALs continue to be wounded or killed during the Global War on Terror.

SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Foundation-Hawaii was established to meet this growing need. The Foundation is a non-profit 509(a)3, operating under a 501(c)3 that works in partnership with the Naval Special Warfare Foundation to provide education, health and wellness programs for the families of U.S. Navy SEALs who have died while serving our country, or who are presently serving in harm's way in trouble spots around the world. The need is real, substantial and immediate.
